I encourage Japanese companies to engage in open conversations with data science professionals, even if their understanding of their data needs is still evolving. Often, companies have a general idea of what they want to achieve but may lack the technical vocabulary to express it in data science terms. Data scientists can help bridge this gap by actively listening to their concerns and translating them into actionable data-driven solutions.
